This panel hosts the most important parameters for the selected Pattern. For some selected Patterns some parameters can be available, for others – are not present. All available pattern layout parameters are shown on the picture above.
On the top of a panel is displayed information on the size (Width/Height in px) of texture layer and quantity of the generated elements.
Pixelsize information is displayed in three colors, depending on the horizontal or/and vertical size.
Gray – Low Risk – The texture can be rasterized and exported without problems.
Orange – Medium Risk – Texture pixelsize in horizontal or vertical direction is greater than 9000 (up to 14000) pixels and can be exported quite safe.
Red – High Risk – Texture pixelsize in horizontal or vertical direction is greater than 14000 pixels and can be export issues. Depends on your computer system.
Columns – Controls the number of Columns in a pattern layout.
Rows – Controls the number of Rows in a pattern layout.
Element Length – Controls the length an Element can be.
Element Width – Controls the width an Element can be. For some patterns this parameter can be disabled and value will be calculated automatically depending on the parameter Element Length. And also, depending on selected Pattern type, names of parameters will change.
Gap X – Controls the width of the distance between Elements in the horizontal direction.
Gap Y – Controls the width of the distance between Elements in the vertical direction.
Depending on selected Pattern type can be available only one Gap parameter.
Element Random ID – The random generator requires a seed value before it can generate a random sequence. The same Random ID will reproduce the same elements pattern.
Random Next – Generates a new random seed value.
Random Auto – Automatically generates new Random ID value.
Row Shift (1, 2) – Controls how much row of Elements should be offset.
Interior Elements – Controls how many Elements can be in one Pattern block.
Element W/H Ratio – The aspect ratio of a Element rectangle of its longer side to its shorter side.
Interior Direction – Controls the Element’s direction in one or more Pattern block.
